Day 2: Sydney City Explorer

Ok.. hari kedua di Sydney.. Hari ini hari "free & easy" untuk kami.. Kami pilih untuk nak explore  bandaraya metropolitan ini sendiri.. Memang boleh dikatakan pengangkutan awam di sini sangat baik.. lelebih lagi dengan keramahan warga Aussie yang sentiasa tersenyum & helpful.. I don't feel like an outsider dekat Sydney..

Untuk memudahkan perjalanan.. kami pilih untuk menaiki Hop-on-Hop-off (HoHo).. Dengan HoHo kite bole explore CBD & Bondi Beach.. HoHo akan bawa anda ke pit stop yang best2 n mmg bole highlight seluruh bandar Sydney.. Cume kalau nak ke Bondi kene tukar bas pada pitstop yang tertentu.. mmg senangla utk kami yang bawa kids ni kan.. Arissa excited sbb rasanya ni kali pertama dy naik bas n kali pertama jugak bagi aku & hubby naik bas dua tingkat.. Cuasa di Sydney sangat best.. langsung x hujan dengan suhu sekitar 20 degree celsius.. How I wish Malaysia punyai suhu yang sebegini. Oklah.. enjoy the pictures..

Sebelum memulakan perjalanan singgah beli Kopi $1.. bole dapat dekat 7E.. sedap jugak..

When in Sydney.. (Day One)

I have been busy for the past few weeks.. I know I owe you diary a few words about Sydney.. Alright! Here I am.. in front of you.. dragging my "malas" fingers.. I'll do my best.. I hope I can come out with something really useful for you readers (as so I have lots of people reading my blog..huhuh)..

Day One: Ariving Sydney..

Kami bertolak pagi dalam pukul 6.30 pagi.. Departure dalam pukul 10 pagi.. Perjalanan selama 8 jam dari KLIA 2 ke Kingsford Smith Sdyney Airport.. mmg lah mencabar.. this was Arissa's 2nd time.. Ok.. kami pilih seat belakang hot seat.. so ruang pemandangan dy ok sket.. xlaa sesak sangat.. Kalau bawa anak rasa better jgn amik hot seats sebab handle tangan dy xle nak bukak.. so anak nak tdo mmg susah.. hehe.. ok.. for few hours.. Arissa baik je.. enjoy her flight.. but bermula jam ke-4 dy dah start cranky dah.. Adoy! tapi ibu x salahkan Arissa.. dy dah mengantuk.. mmg susah jugakla nak tidokan Arissa.. kesian papa.. terpakse wat muke tebal berdiri depan toilet.. sambil dodoikan Arissa.. last2 tertido jugak dy.. Lama jugak Arissa tido.. Dh nak dekat smpi baru dy terbangun n sempat buat lawak! "Yaya tidow.. pastu dah malam"... hahaha..

Lebih kurang pukul 830 malam (waktu Aussie) kami sampai.. ok ni part yang papa arissa paling risau.. mcmane laa nak lepas dari imigresen.. tapi kami mmg dah tau awal2.. mmg kami dah declare ape yang patut.. semasa luggage check.. Alhamdulillah.. semuanya lepas. officer dorg tanya sikit2 je.. xde langsung bukak luggage kitorg.. n imigresen officer dy xlaa garang pun.. serious sangat friendly.. jauh lebih baik dari Jakarta ok!!

Urusan airport selesai.. kami pun tunggu PIC dari KoalaBelang untuk pick up ke hotel.. lama juga menunggu.. sob3x.. sampai je dorg trus bawa ke hotel.. Kami menginap di Central Station Hotel.. berdekatan dengan Central Station, Sydney..

Sedikit review mengenai hotel ini..

• check-in cepat n layanan yang sangat mesra (org aussie mmg sangat peramah n helpful)
• receptionist yang sangat baik n informative
• hotel yang sangat bersih (toilet dy mmg sangat bersih).. kalau check website gambar2 hotel tu.. mmg mcmtulaa rupa hotelnye.. bersih & baru (hotel baru refurbish)
• saya dapat bilik Studio 3.. spacious.. ada kitchenette, ade microwave, toaster & cutlery.. bolelaa nak masak.. 
• toiletries sume disediakan.. 
• dekat dengan Central Station.. pengangkutan awam x jadi masalah.. 
• hotel ni even dekat dengan central station.. tapi xbusy mcm george street/ king street
• ok Nora kasi 4 bintang... hehehe

Ok.. Percutian kali ni bukanlah percutian yang biasa2 bagi aku.. dah lama dah pasang angan2 nak bercuti ke Australia.. cume poket x berapa nak tebal kan.. hehe.. Lame jugaklaa kumpul duit.. Dah agak2 cukup.. wokeh let's plan.. Australia ade banyak tempat menarik.. so mane nak pegi? Gold Coast? Sydney? Melbourne? Adelaide? Perth? Ok mmg adelaa sesi pening2 kepala.. then pk punye pk.. akhirnya... Owh I fall in love with Sydney.. Hehe.. dramatik sgt..

Ever since.. hari2 aku wat research.. dari harga tiket flight smpi laa ke sebatang berus gigi.. hehe..  So untuk memudahkan cerita kali ni.. meh aku kasi checklist.. beserta tips2 kepada sesiapa yang merancang nak ke Sydney.. ceeewaaahh..

1. Tiket flight & Accomodation (for 3, me, hubs & Arissa)

Air Asia mmg 1st option sebab sume tahu kan "Now Everyone Can Fly" hehe.. Mmg kalau compare Air Asia dengan MAS.. harga mmg jauh beza.. for me.. mmg beza dekat RM2k++.. Banyak tu..

Hot tips: Survey dan beli bile anda rasa itulah tiket paling murah.. Sbb x semestinya kite beli tiket awal tu adalah harga tiket paling murah.. trust me..hehe..and lagi satu maybe ramai yang x aware dengan kewujudan AirAsiago kan? Ramai yang x tau AirAsiaGo selalu bagi dirt cheap sales untuk tiket flight + accomodation.. for me aku dapat deal yang mmg the best:

Flight KUL-SYD (return) = FREE!

Hotel Price =	RM1,874.27 (5 Nights)
Taxes & Fees =	RM2,000.00
Total Price	RM3,874.27(super cheap utk 3 orang!)

Accomodation: Central Station Hotel, Sydney (Studio Room 3) - really spacious for three of us- what a bargain.. This hotel is near to all Sydney City Attractions! Hotel ni sangat dekat dengan Central Station (macam ala2 KL sentral) so mmg senang la nak naik bas ke train ke kat cni. Selain itu hotel ni ada sediakan small kitchenette siap dengan microwave, toaster, cutlery (hanya untuk bilik studio). Senang nak masak kalau malas nak carik makan kat luar. dan yang paling best.. hotel ni sangat bersih! hehe..

Hot tips: Kalau nak lebih jimat.. bolelah tempah bilik di Malaysian Hall. Rate bilik di MH ialah AUD20 seorang untuk satu malam dan AUD15 untuk service charge/seorang kalau x silap laa (better check website dy untuk rate semasa)..Tapi dengar cerita MH mmg susah nak dapat.. kene mohon awal..

2. Ground Arrangment

Ok.. mmg dah banyak yang saya survey.. Travel agentla.. day tours laa.. Finally terjumpa satu ni.. mmg cheap + excellant service.. for more info please check their website http://koala-belang.blogspot.com/. A lil bit info pasal koalabelang:

• Excellent Service (PIC mmg baik- layan je kerenah clients)
• Day Tours tu bole pilih mana kite nak pegi (tailored to client needs)
• Mmg bole lebih kurang 
• Orang melayu malaysia - sangat sesuai utk sesiapa yang berminat utk dapatkan muslim tour package (senang laa nak solat ke ape kan)
• Bole ambil package makanan melayu yang murah

Other options: www.sydneytoursrus.com (good reviews dalam tripadvisor but I have no experience with them). 

3. Visa

Bole amik je dengan travel agent (RM 30/person).


4. Food Allowed in Sydney

Hot tips: Please declare everything! If not you are in a big trouble. Untuk contoh makanan yang dibenarkan sila rujuk website ni: http://www.daff.gov.au/biosecurity/travel/cant-take. 

5. Transportation

• My Multi: Single/Day/Week/Monthly Pass (MyMulti Pass is an all-in-one ticket that gives you unlimited train, bus and ferry travel throughout Greater Sydney)
• Hop on Hop Off (HoHo): City Sightseeings and Bondi Beach (tiket bole beli dengan Central Station dengan harga AUD 40/adult (child <5 = FREE)
• Sewa kereta: Maybe you all kene explore sendiri.. hehe

Hot tips: Kalau nak travel make sure you all ade 1 hari Ahad.. sbb ape yang bestnye hari Ahad ni.. ia dipanggil Sunday Funday dimana you all bole naik semua transport yang available dekat Sydney secara percuma! hehe.. so banyak dah bole jimat dekat situ.

Happy Birthday Anak Ibu

16 Jan 2014... dah 2 tahun anak ibu.. cepatnye masa berlalu kan.. cepat betul anak ibu membesar.. Ibu seronok sangat.. thank you for 2 amazing years Ya Allah.. and am sooo excited for many more years to come.. insyaAllah hingga ke Jannah..

Birthday yaya (arissa bahasakan diri dy yaya) thn ni.. ibu wat simple2 je (even x berapa simple according to papa yaya :p).. guest hanya jemput sedara mara je.. tu pun yang mmg terdekat.. yang jauh2 sket tu xjemput pun.. Saje je wat jugak bday dy sbb teringin nak tgk yaya potong kek & tiup lilin bday.. tapi disebabkan bday yaya ari khamis.. so we all decide utk sambut bday pada 18 hb..

 Thn ni ibu ade jugak tempah goodie bag for kiddos.. tempah dari sahabat baik ibu aka sisters (hazimi).. dy ni mmg kreatif.. n dy watkan mia mini pail with Sofia the 1st Theme.. mmg cute sesangat..

All n all ibu mmg puas hati laa dengan majlis kecil2 lan ni.. n ibu rasa yaya pun sangat happy sebab sampai sekarang dy asik nyanyi lagu "Allah semamat kan kamu" (Allah selamat kan kamu).. hahaha.. BTW happy bday anak ibu.. semoga anak ibu membesar dengan sihat.. jadi anak yang solehah kepada papa & ibu dan diberikan kejayaan di dunia & akhirat.. ibu dan papa sentiasa akan doakan yaya & we love you till Jannah!! Muahhhhhhhhh........
